The first piece was a dad cap. Rather than settle for a stock promotional product, we color and finish matched a dad cap blank to DailyBasis's brand standards, then applied the branding touches that only a custom manufacturing job can achieve—elevating a familiar silhouette into something that reads as a true brand product rather than giveaway merch. The second piece was a tote bag. DailyBasis came to us with a reference that was lightweight and small in dimension. We saw an opportunity to deliver more for less: we supplied a heavier-weight canvas with strong construction throughout—including reinforced handles—and a higher-quality print, all at a lower cost than their previous run. The result was a sturdier, more premium bag that better reflected the brand and held up to everyday use.
MXKRS partnered with DailyBasis to re-engineer their branded merchandise—a color-matched custom dad cap and a heavier-weight canvas tote—delivering higher quality and stronger construction at a lower cost than their previous promotional supplier.
This project highlights the core difference between off-the-shelf promotional merchandise and true custom manufacturing. By taking DailyBasis's references and rebuilding them through a production lens—better materials, stronger construction, and finishing details done right—we were able to raise the quality of every piece while bringing cost down. It's a clear example of how the right manufacturing partner adds value rather than just fulfilling an order.
By pairing material expertise with precise execution, MXKRS helped DailyBasis create branded products that feel intentional, durable, and aligned with the quality of their brand.
Next projects.
